Daniel Reynolds

Youth Project Worker

Dan is our Youth Project Worker and brings a lot of enthusiasm and creativity to the Youth Project. Dan felt strongly that he had life experience that would be shared by many of the young people who come to Y.I. and he has been right. He has a great sense of humour and fun, but he is also kind and compassionate, and cares very much about the young people he works with and identifies with much of their own experiences.

“I’m very excited to be a part of this fantastic charity and I love working with young people. I have recently graduated from Langside College on the Acting & Performance course and hope my experience in the acting world can help encourage young people to pursue their dreams and build self-confidence. YI is such a fun environment to work in and has a family-like feel to it.

I have a large amount of experience working with young people. Over the past 9 years I have taught street dance in the local community and worked on projects that involve young people.

I’m hoping my life experience, drive, and enthusiasm can help encourage young people to achieve their dreams and if they ever need someone to talk to about career paths, I would be happy to help. When the young people come to the hub you can sense their happiness and joy. This shows just how important the place is to them.

When I’m not working with YI, you will find me playing football, hill walk, and running. I love my movies, TV series, and playing PS4”.
